1. Definitions

• “Services” include Local Moving, Long-Distance Moving, Commercial Moving, Residential Moving, and Moving and Storage.

2. Scope of Services

• Fort Meade Movers provides professional moving and storage services as outlined on our website or agreed upon in our contracts.
• The scope of services, including dates, times, and costs, will be confirmed in a written agreement between the Client and the Company.

3. Client Responsibilities

• Accurate Information: The Client must provide accurate details regarding the moving inventory, location, and special requirements.
• Packing: Unless specified, the Client is responsible for packing all items before the movers’ arrival.
• Accessibility: The Client must ensure safe and clear access to both origin and destination locations.
• Valuables: The Company is not responsible for cash, jewelry, or other valuables unless explicitly agreed in writing.

4. Payment Terms

• A deposit may be required to secure moving services.
• Full payment must be made upon completion of services unless otherwise stated in the agreement.

5. Liability and Insurance

• The Company takes reasonable care in handling and transporting items.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

7. Prohibited Items
The Company will not transport the following:

• Hazardous materials, explosives, or flammable items.
• Perishable goods.
• Illegal substances.

8. Storage Services

• Storage terms, including duration and costs, will be outlined in a separate agreement.
• The Company will take reasonable measures to secure stored items but is not liable for loss or damage due to force majeure events.

9. Disputes

• Any disputes regarding services must be reported in writing within 7 days of service completion.
• Disputes unresolved through negotiation will be subject to arbitration in the state of Florida.

10. Amendments
The Company reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to Clients via email or website updates.
